Our partnership focuses on itinerary management. We are literally mobilising all travel documents of the traveller. A text message containing a personal link to the mobile site of eDreams gives the traveller access via their mobile phone to flight details, e-ticket numbers, weather forecasts, social sharing, etc.

CheapTickets.nl, the largest provider of airline tickets in the Netherlands and part of Travix International, offers its customers a solution to this problem. A special app on your mobile gives you timely information on all relevant details about a booked flight, such as when you can check in online or which baggage carousel your luggage is on.

As the first online travel agent in the Netherlands, CheapTickets.nl offers its travellers the possibility of staying informed proactively via an iPhone app regarding changes and the status of the flight they booked. Demand for such mobile services is growing vigorously in both the Netherlands and Western Europe, and we expect the smartphone to have a tremendous impact on the travel industry and on customers’ booking behaviour in the future.

We and CheapTickets are convinced that this application is only the beginning.
